The 5th International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA 2026), co-hosted by AfricaCDC and the Government of Ethiopia, will take place from 23–27 November 2026 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the theme “Africa’s Health Security and Sovereignty: Transformation from Health Dependency and Vulnerability to Ownership and Resilience.”
The conference will convene over 30,000 public health professionals, policymakers, researchers, innovators, political leaders, youth advocates, and other health leaders from Africa and around the world.
The programme will feature high-level plenaries, scientific sessions, networking, innovation showcase, awards and partnership forums, designed to foster substantive and cross-disciplinary discussions.
